The Nong Nooch Tropical Garden in Pattaya!

Nong Nooch Tropical Garden in PattayaThe Nong Nooch Tropical Garden is one of the oldest of all sights in Pattaya, having been first opened for public consumption back in 1980. The gardens follow a European plan and yet they are littered with distinct Thai touches, including statues, pavilions and cultural performances that are distinctly Thai. One of the most interesting parts of the Nong Nooch Tropical Botanical Garden is the orchid collection, of which there are approximately 670 different varieties put on display there. This is of special interest to many of the people that visit Nong Nooch Village Pattaya.

The Nong Nooch Tropical Botanical Garden is constantly evolving and developing to include new attractions, activities and shows. The Nong Nooch Garden is especially dedicated to research, preservation and education as well as conservation of the largest palm collection in the entire world. The variety of orchid flowers hosted in Nong Nooch is the largest in Thailand as well, and the gardens are home to numerous other types of flora and fauna as well.

The Nong Nooch Tropical Garden is open daily from 7:00 am until 6:00 pm. The admission cost for Nong Nooch Garden is 400 Baht which is approximately $13 USD. This will give you access both to the gardens and to the cultural show performances as well. These shows come in many different forms, including traditional dances and an elephant circus which draws in busloads of visitors from around the area.

It is recommended that if you plan on attending the gardens and park, then you should visit in the morning hours because it is generally going to be cooler. Some of the shows are more worthwhile than others. You can find the amazing Nong Nooch Gardens by taking Sukhumvit Road south from Pattaya. The park is located approximately 14 kilometers from the Pattaya city centre.
